Food Allergy Alert – Fish (salmon) & gluten – Morrison’s Prawn & Smoked Salmon Cocktail

Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC recalls one date code of Morrisons The Best Prawn & Smoked Salmon Cocktail due to a labelling error resulting in incorrect allergen information

Due to a labelling error, the above product contains fish and gluten, which are not declared on the label. Therefore, this is a potential health risk for individuals who are allergic or sensitive to fish or gluten.

Use by date: 20 April 2011

Action taken by the company:

The company has withdrawn all affected stock and recalled from customers with a fish or gluten allergy or intolerance. Customer notices have been displayed in stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product. In addition, the company has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations who will inform their at risk members of the recall.

No other Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC products are known to be affected.
